    Great local book shop a good browse anytime of the day or week except sundays closed

    Wonderful shop on hot days. The owner might have the front door closed, but this is to keep the shop cool. Good selection of books. Even a box of toys for children to amuse themselves so you can have a good look.

    A lovely small (independent?) bookstore with interesting selections and pleasant staff. We found a Melvin Beederman book for the 4-year-old with us, and I found a beautiful illustrated book published in 2015 (just in time for ANZAC day this centennial year) of "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" -- the 1970s antiwar song that is about Gallipoli (not Vietnam).
