The most incredible, relaxing, unique getaway. My boyfriend and I visited for a one night stay at the beginning of winter and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, except for the birds and local wildlife. Les and Darilyn run the property with more than just good hospitality knowledge, they are clearly passionate about meeting new people and making them feel welcome and part of the incredible surrounding environment. Darilyn's cooking and baking is a highlight of its own: we strongly recommend booking a dinner during your stay, served to you at the large dinner table near the wood fire if you're lucky enough to go in winter. Les' knowledge of the native flora and fauna is another highlight and fascinating for tourists from afar as well as born and bred Gippslanders! Add to all this the forest-view jacuzzi, the sauna, the CDs and boardgames for TV-free entertainment, the beautiful and thoughtfully acquired artworks adorning the walls... We can't rave about it enough and we're looking forward to returning again soon.
